Bronze is also suitable for high temperature soldering (till 750° C). Bronze fittings do not loose their hardness after a hard soldering and this is very important specially for the thread. Bronze fittings are suitable for steam distribution plants as they can support temperatures over 225°C. Bronze is also used for pipe-lines of see- water as it is not eroded by strong waves or stream.
