Marine Firestop
marine-firestop
Marine Cable CoatingLatex-based coating designed to protect grouped electrical cables against the propagation of fire. When properly installed, this material will limit flame spread along cables and cable trays. STI Marine Cable Coating will adhere well to virtually all cable jacketing materials. Application of material is achieved using airless spray equipment or by brush. The high solids coating will provide exceptional coverage rates. /Asset/MFS_CC.pngMarine Fire Rated Pathways(8) For conditions where cable changes will be frequent and water pressure tightness is not a requirement, the EZ-Path® Marine Cable Pathway is the fastest and most reliable solution. The steel raceway contains a self-sealing system comprised of compressible foam pads installed to form an arch. As the cables pass through the device, the pads retract and allow them to pass while gently squeezing the bundle to provide a functional smoke and air seal. The firestopping system can never be compromised due to neglect or adding too much cable. If the cable fits, it is firestopped! EZ-Path Marine Cable Pathways provide 100% compliance 100% of the time. Device modules can be installed individually, or ganged to increase cable capacity. Accessory plates allow for easy mounting to bulkheads or decks. /Asset/MDM150A.pngTraditional Marine Firestop Collars(21) Factory-manufactured devices designed for use in A0-A60, B0-B30, and H0-H120 Class divisions to protect plastic pipes in marine and offshore construction. The heavy gauge stainless steel shell is lined with a molded, intumescent insert and provided with a marine grade, mild steel flange for attachment to the bulkhead or deck. Marine Firestop Collars (MFC) are tested according to IMO resolution A.754 (18) and IMO FTP Code, Annex 1, Part 3 for A Rated deck and bulkhead divisions. /Asset/MFCCollar.pngWatertight Marine Firestop Collars(21) Water-tight, factory-manufactured devices designed for use as a penetration seal in fire-rated bulkheads and decks. Tested according to IMO resolution A.754 (18) FTP (Class A0-A60, B0-B30, and H0-H120 Bulkheads and Decks) /Asset/MFS_WTMFC.pngTransitional Marine Firestop Collars(5) Factory-manufactured devices designed for use in A0-A60 and B0-B30 Class divisions to protect transitions between steel and plastic pipes in marine and offshore construction. The heavy gauge stainless steel shell is lined with a molded, intumescent insert and provided with a marine grade, mild steel flange for attachment to steel pipes. /Asset/MFS_Transitional_MFC.pngMarine Firestop SealantAn advanced hybrid polymer sealant designed for use in H60, A0-A60 and B0-B30 Class divisions in marine and offshore construction around both cable and pipe penetrations. MFS cures in the presence of atmospheric moisture to form a durable elastomeric seal. MFS excels in applications where a high-degree of water resistance is required. MFS complies with International Maritime Organization (IMO) standards. /Asset/MFS_Sealant.pngMarine Firestop Putty(2) Marine Firestop Putty (MPU) is designed to seal small to medium size openings in H60, A0-A60 and B0-B30 Class divisions in marine and offshore construction for pipes and cables. Marine Firestop Putty is a non-hardening, moldable compound that can be handpacked into openings for permanent or temporary sealing. This product complies with International Maritime Organization (IMO) standards and is tested according to IMO resolution A.754 (18) and IMO FTP Code, Annex 1, Part 3 for A Rated deck and bulkhead divisions. /Asset/MFS_Putty.pngMarine Firestop Foam(2) A two-component RTV silicone foam that features excellent crack-and-void filling capabilities. Unlike other foams, MRF exhibits uniform cell structure, assuring reproducible, smoketight, fire resistant installations. Minimal pressure during foaming virtually eliminates shrinkage of the cured material. The elastic properties of the foam readily accommodate minor vibration of the pipe, conduit, etc. without loss of system integrity. Used in a 1:1 mix ratio, MRF, when properly mixed, expands 2 to 4 times its original volume, filling available spaces and forming an effective barrier against fire, smoke and water penetration. /Asset/MFS_Foam.png |
