Dezincification: This corrosion does not affect Bronze whilst it is well known that the clorine content of water destroys brass.
Bronze is also suitable for high temperature soldering (till 750° C). Bronze fittings do not loose their hardness after a hard soldering and this is very important specially for the thread.
Bronze fittings are suitable for steam distribution plants as they can support temperatures over 225°C.
Bronze is also used for pipe-lines of see- water as it is not eroded by strong waves or stream.
THREAD:FRA.BO's Bronze fittings are produced according to Norms: EN 1254 - UNI 8050-DIN 2856-ISO 2016 and the thread of fittings is made according to ISO 7/4 - DIN 2999 - ISO 228
